Bryn Mawr (Tuesday, June 23rd) – Peace Islands Institute held an interfaith iftar fast breaking meal at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Bryn Mawr. The program was the traditional fast breaking dinner that happens at sunset during Ramadan, and also included some discussion from the participants and some insights into fasting in Islam and in Christianity. Peace Islands Institute Outreach Coordinator talked about fasting in Ramadan. St. Luke Pastor David Tatgenhorst offered some reflection on fasting in Christianity, as well as the opportunity to connect across cultures, traditions, and neighbors.​
