During the Muslim holiday, Eid al-Adha, Peace Islands Institute partners with Embrace Relief, a non-profit organization in Fairfield, NJ, to donate more than 200lbs of Qurban meat to each of different soup kitchens and community centers that were visited throughout the years. Multiple NJ Assembly members have shown their support and collaborated with PII for the meat donations made each year.

The Peace Islands Institute & Embrace Relief
Peace Islands Institute and Embrace Relief collaborated with Assemblyman Thomas Giblin & Assemblywoman Britnee Timberlake to distribute the Qurban donations. We donated over 100lbs of meat to both Toni’s Kitchen and St.Peter’s Haven.
The Peace Islands Institute and Embrace Relief were joined with Anthony M. Bucco, Assemblyman of the 25th District of Morris County for their annual meat distribution on Sept. 2, 2019. Over 150lbs of meat was donated to the Table of Hope community kitchen and the Interfaith Food Pantry.
The Peace Islands Institute & Embrace Relief along with Legislators from Districts 34 and 25 had their annual meat distribution where the goal was to help those who are in need. We collaborated with Bethel church, Toni’s Kitchen and St. Peter’s Haven and donated over 150lbs of meat to each place.
