PII Upstate NY was invited to a Unite Rochester Panel at the City of Rochester

Members of the PII Upstate NY was invited to a forum focused on educating the public about the criminal justice system at the City of Rochester which was planned by Unite Rochester’s Justice Engagement Committee, the event was part of a community initiative by D and C.
Ronald L. Davis, director of the U.S. Justice Department’s Office of Community-Oriented Policing Services moderated the forum and had praise for the vision behind Unite Rochester.

Panelists included; Monroe County Public Defender Timothy Donaher, District Attorney Sandra Doorley,Monroe County Sheriff Patrick O’Flynn, Fred Bell, deputy chief of the Rochester Police Department, Mayor Lovely Warren, and the City Councilman Adam McFadden.

PII Upstate New York was among thirty influential community initiatives which was invited to an official panel by the department for the first time.
