Philadelphia (April 17, 2014) – On Thursday, April 17th, Peace Islands Institute Center for Social Affairs – Philadelphia hosted the FBI Multicultural Advisory Committee. ( www.fbi.gov )
The meeting began with an Introduction speed by FBI Special Agent in Charge Ed Hanko, and welcome speech from PII Board Member Gazi Ataseven, and then proceeded with a lunch. PII Outreach Coordinator Feyzi Eygoren spoke about the Peace Islands Institute and it’s connection to events like this one.
During the meeting, Computer Specialist Brody Black gave a presentation on Cyber Security, how to be prepared for new threats that have arisen, and he also talked about the expansion of the FBI’s Cyber Security division. After the presentations, community updates were shared from community representatives, and there was a Q & A session.”
